Default warrior problem

wow i havent been on here in along time but just yesturday i was riding my quad dragging my friend down a road (which is privatly owned by him) and i heard a ticking and vibrating noise i looked down and the cap that attachs the recoil starter to the engine was on the last thread of the last screw!!! so my question is is there a way to get rid of the recoil starter completely lik a camp just put over the hole? or do i have to replace it

loctite it, or you could get one of the plastic covers from a newer warrior on ebay and eliminate the recoil. DON'T WELD IT ON!
