What are the advantages of running those skinny car tire radials on the front. i own a banshee and need new fronts. i ride at a mx track for fun and when not there i ride in coal doing coal hillclimbs. and some trails. what do you think??

are they strong? light? good steering traction??
whats good about them over quad tires?

They are 19" tall, they turn alot better on mx track surface and they look cool. I ordered some a few days ago so I will let you know about weight. Also, they would seem to be much more puncture resistant.

Do they work good with 20" rear tires or do you need 18's??
thanks

You can run them with the 20" rears, but it will change the geometry of the bike a little. If your fronts are 21 or 22 and you drop to 19", the front will sit 1-1.5" lower, therefore, putting more weight on the front. It will also change the steering geometry. If you want it to handle like stock, get the 18" rears and regear for the tire size change. I have a friend who runs the fronts with stockers on the rear of his 400ex and it works fine. I do not know if it would be better or worse with the 18s but I would believe it would be better. I am getting 18s as we speak...
