Can someone tell me how to go about checking and tightening the belt on the 2006 650V2?

v2rider, you really need to go to Arctic Chat for those answers, same with your muffler. THey have about 100 V2 owners over their. Go to the general ATV and performance/modification sections for your answers.

The best thing for you to do is to remove a shim on your belt, and add a VDI or moose module. It will make that a whole new ATV.

Good luck!
