I have a 99 Grizzly. I would like to replace the stock tires with 26" or 27" Blackwaters. Stock tires are 25x8x12 (F) & 25x10x10 (R). What size can put on the stock rims?

Check your rear tire size, i know the specs say 25x10x10, but my 2000 were 25x10x12, so i have 27" titan 589 on stock rims,best all around tire!!!

 

Do the 27's slow it down at all in the acceleration dept? I would rather have the acceleration than added top end. Do the Titans come in a 25"? Is the only advantage of the 27's clearance and top end? Thanks for your help.

 

My tires were 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear. I replaced them with 27x9x12 front and 27x11x12 rear Titan 589's also, outstanding tire. I haven't really noticed that it has slow down my acceleration much. But they sure do grip better!

With my titan 589's I did loose some top end, not much. Besides I can now go where sp500 cant!!!. They are one of the best tires on the market, and yes they do come in 25" I should also note that my 27's measure 26.18......

 

Do you need a lift kit for 27" tires or is it for 28" tires? Could i get 27" tires and still use stock rims?
