Skid plates????

Default Skid plates????

(this time ill do my best on grammer.ok.)My front skid plate has 2 screws that are broke.(and i did get them out)Since the plate is pretty much replaceable now.I wont to get another skid for both the front and back.But I don't know which kind would be the best to get.I would like some metal ones but don't know were or how to get them.Please Help, Chris(did i do any better in grammer?)

ok, here's an internet secret. go over to google.com and type in "kawasaki prarie aluminum skid plate"

make sure your spelling is correct. the first couple of pages of results will probably be the best.

Default Skid plates????

Thanks but ive already gone thro 3 front aluminom plates in the front.They just wont stan up to how hard i drive my prairie.But thanks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]I was wondering if there is inything beter then aluminom.

Sarry that site didn't help.But thanks tho i can use it to get my dads brute some new ones for his b-day.I need a replacement part for the plate that is broke now.Its a front peace.That had snapped in half(dont ask how)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].Also was wondering if any1 knew were good tires i can get for my 360.I wont some that i can use for both pavement and mud and snow and sand.So some all terian tires.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Default Skid plates????

Need to find plastic skid plate. They are slicker so ATV slides over objects easier. They are also flex a little so they withstand some pressure. And they are generally cheaper to replace.

there's a guy on ebay that makes custom plates for the Brute, and one option is steel (it used to be 10 ga steel. that's like 1/8"). might check that out. i agree that the plastic might also hold up better too.

Default Skid plates????

My AC 650 V2 has plastic skid plates and I have beat the hell out of them and they havnt shown anything more than scuffs and scratches. They pop back after coming off a rock or tree unlike metal or aluminum which stays bent in that position

Default Skid plates????

you might want to check out hebcodistributing.com. they make skid plates out 3/16 lexan. from experience, i can tell you lexan is incredibly tough. they prices arent too bad either. hope this helps.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
