Serial #? I have a Polaris 250 2x4 and am trying to find out what year it is.

my wifes 250 trail blazer has a sticker on the front by the head light to tell ser. and yr.

 

Its the tenth 10th digit in the VIN. I.E. if its a 5 then its an 2005

 

After 2000 the 10th digit will give you the year, before 2000 the 10th digit will be a letter. get that and call your local dealer, they will look it up.

 

A=80
B=81
C=82
D=83
E=84
F=85
G=86
H=87
J=88
K=89
L=90
M=91
N=92
P=93
R=94
S=95
T=96
V=97
W=98
X=99
Z=00

AFTER 2000 ITS THE NUMBER I.E.

1=2001
2=2002

ETC ETC ETC.

 

If you can find the model# sticker (on the down tube behind the RH front wheel)
The 2nd & 3dr digets are the year,

 

buckmaster. had you checked this post before posting the same question. you would have seen that wjw gave you the answer. he said that the second and third digit was the year. your serial number is 1967236. Thus 96. Dont give up on your post.
