Don't start whinging about one little workhorse. I have a 99 that has been to Hell and back, I have used it for a skidder ,dozer, snowplow, push truck at the local race track, and a rockhauler never once did my 335 let me down . The parts Iput into it were from abuse to it. all in allit has been great little machine!!!!!!!!!!

i liked my 335 i had. nice little machine that was solid as a rock. i traded up to the 500 because i wanted more speed to stay up w/ the bigger boys. w/ a set of dirt devil tires it went pretty darn good.

There has to be something wrong with your 335 if you think it is underpowered!
Are you trying to move a trailerhome? My 335 is very strong, and quick. I have a 60' moose
plow on it, and never have i run out of power. Even excavating earth in the summer, Now I
did blow a head gasket(my own fault) other than that, traction is more the problem.
How much do you weigh? I am not trien to be meen so please dont take offence. Have you
changed plugs, checked throttle body, maybe airfilter? If there is still a problem, let me know.
I my not be the smartest guy, but I know this bike well.

like i said i liked my 335 justed wanted something a little faster. if you ride w/ 500 or bigger cc machines you will feel a little disappointed.mine topped out around 45 mph so it wasnt to bad.

Yea, I guess the 335 is "ok", it is allittle under powered though, and come to think of it I have rode it pretty hard!
I have had less problems with it than my 500. Currently I've got to replace both of the inner CV "cups" that go into the transmission and the sprocket inside the trans. What a chunk of cash that will be!!

I use to own a 00SP335. It was our family's first atv. We had a blast on it too. We traded it in for the 500 with almost 4200miles on the 335. It wasn't the fastest mid-size quad around(had a dry weight of 670lbs), but it did good in the mud, pullling things, plowing snow, and just recreational trail riding. It also was the smoothest riding in its class with the IRS. Mine would top out at 50, but it would take a long time to get there. It would basically hit a wall at about 43mph and then slowly gain speed until 50. It was a pretty reliable rig that did everything we wanted it to. I ran that engine hard as I would run it WOT for long periods of time and it never complained. I certainly don't regret having the old 335. The engine in it will last forever as it is one of the lowest reving motors I have seen. That way there is little stress put on the engine. 2manytoys is right. You could always just change the cluthing on the little sportsman. Like most polaris's, it has lazy clutching.
