I have had a gut full of people getting on here and telling everyone how to raise their kids. I have a four year old daugter that smokes cocaine and am I a bad father for her being able to tweak a little and have fun? The cocaine laws were written over 20 years ago when kids were being killed from doing heroine as there were very few youth tweakers, now the streets are flooded with them. Another question I have is how much safer is it to give my daughter a bong comparred to cocaine? Sorry for the post but I needed to blow off some steam after reading some posts and reading some of the responses from others who don't see things the same way I do..

if you're to worried about you kid getting hurt riding , maybe you'll be better off keeping them locked up in a closet. this is the perfect age to see if kids have talant and develoment if they do.

I think you can safely monitor your child on a small ATV and de-tune it for safety. It's all in how you move them along and teach them. And for many children, it may not be safe. But for some, it will be. That's for the parent to decide.

As for cocain, I don't think you can safely smoke any amount of crack as a child. No matter how much you cut it down, your still in a bad way.

Just say no..............to crack.

 

I liked it better when he was suggesting a tricycle and a teddy bear. Not real popular here, but it made a good point.

The other topic starter's kids at least had a year on the powerwheels and did come to get others opinions. I'll sit back on that one...

I have seen worse!!! I'm reminded of this guy that insisted on a LT80 for his "soon to be" 3 year old. But it's ok he proclaimed, she has been on a LT80 with blocks under her feet. I recommended a car with blocks/levers on the controls seeins she's so expierienced. Talk about a drug problem!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

I know the author of this thread is just trying to make a point. And most likely his children do not use any drugs, however if I was a moderator I would ask him to edit it or ask if it can be removed.

I think the main thing to do here is to realize that whatever someone else has to say about how old a child should be to ride an ATV or Motorcycle they are just opinions. It is going to be up to the parent to make the right choice on whether their child is capable of handling the vehicle or not. Not every child has the same learning ability as the next. When it comes down to it, the parent will have to live with this choice whether the out come is good or bad. It is very important for people to give their opinions, because everyone has different life experiences. So when someone is looking for advice, state your opinions. Just remember the reason why we post here is to help one another, even when someone doesn’t agree with you.
