looking into buying a new sport atv. i have now a yamaha warrior. all of my buddies have are raptor 700"s and banshee"s . i want something different. i was thinking either the kawi 700 or the honda 450r. i do want something if not eqivelant to the raptors but also faster. what are my options ? the only thing im unsure of on the kxf 700 is its automatic with shaft drive. ?????please let me know what your opionions are thanks brian

 

Out of those, I'd go with the 450r without a doubt. The big Kawi is auto with a shaft drive and is very heavy.

 

have you ever been up against a new raptor 700?. my brother just got a new raptor and out of the box it has the most all around power i have ever felt . but then again i have never rode a 450r

 

I ran some 2006 model 450r's and they are impressive.I believe with a good cam,free flowing exhaust,open filter with proper jetting that they would be extremely quick.
