Default just got my warrior going

i just got my warrior going today, and i rode it for about 3 minutes and then it died...my dad said its a fuel problem, but all the lines were clear, and we cleaned the carb about a month or 2 ago...would it already be plugged? he said something about a pump in the carberator that might not be working...anyways, my question is, what other contributing factors could there be if it will run for a few minutes then die...?

did you try loosening the gas cap? if the valve in the cap gets stuck it can cause a vaporlock and fuel can't get to the carb. It's also possible that the carb could be clogged if you missed something the first time you cleaned it, or if there was still some dirt in the gas tank or fuel line.

ok, it turns out someone put like, a pen spring in the carberator to replace a lost srping and it wasnt strong enough to move the fuel pump and it was getting stuck...hardware store had aome better springs and it works now
