Hey folks! I bought a 04 Scrambler 500 4x4 and I want to put some new tires on it. I ride trail, but also want some type of mud tires. I'm looking at the ITP mudlites, but there are several models to choose from and I'm not sure what to buy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

i put holeshot XCT's on, they worked REALLY good

i'm getting new tires in a few weeks

i'm going to keep the holeshots and get HD rears and XCT fronts again..the HD's have alittle bit bigger lugs on them..they're great tires tho!

i'm not a major mudder anymore but i've only gotten stuck in the mud on my quad once or twice

 

X2....have the holeshots and wow what a difference over stock!!!!

 

i would go with the KENda bear claws front and rear. bada$$ mudding tire..good wear...good alll around actually.

 

I put the GBC Dirt Devils on my wife's '98 Scrambler 500. That thing will really climb now. You can see the pics of the tires in photos 11, 12, and 13 on my member page.

 

Look at the GBC Dirt Devils. They are great tires for trail and mud. They are not the greatest for dirt because they like to grap instead of slide.

 

I have a 500 05,i put bear claw all around and liked them this winter...The ride i rough on hardpacked due to the big lugs.Last week i bought 4 maxxis irazr front 21' and rear 20' and they are badasssss.They look better,the ride is nice an smooth plus they throw a mean roost [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I love em!
