What year did the scrambler loose the aluminum oil tank and fox rear shock?

Default What year did the scrambler loose the aluminum oil tank and fox rear shock?

And why the hell did they do that? obviously economics, very stupid. Does the plastic tank have a metal insert where the plug goes or what? Is that an aftermarket metal tank available for these models years? Also, does fox or anyone else offer better shocks for the scrambler? Thanks

yes

does fox or anyone else offer better shocks for the scrambler?
you can buy either fox or works shocks

i could be wrong but i think polaris removed the rear fox shock in 2004.
