I am putting back together a 99 sport 400 i picked up and the fan was removed, i repaired my radiator and am putting it back together and need to know should the fan pull air across the radiator or does it blow air towards the radiator and the front of the bike? if anyone knows please post I am in the middle of this and would like to test my radiator today, Thanks.

 

This is from a 96-97 service manual:

"Raised side of reinforcement rib faces engine on air cooled and liquid cooled engines"

also

"Red dot faces engine"
