warrior intake boot fix?

I tried fixing them before, but not much luck. You could probably wrap it tightly with electrical tape for a temporary fix, but you should plan on getting a new one, they're about $30.
I had two of them tear within about a year before I bought my edelbrock, they're just a weak link in the warrior's design.

just a thought but if you are fairly good with a torch and feel confident that you wont further mess it up......try just taking a hand held propane tortch and heating the area around the crack and work the rubber untill the hole is sealed or if you have any rubber meterial laying around you could heat that up and melt it over the crack and seal it up that way...kinda like welding or soldering it.......this would probally be the most reliable fix and if done right i could be as good as new......
