Default 2006 Z50 Suzuki hopups?

Hiya All!

My Son is really enjoying his 4stroke Z50. I have removed the restrictor from the Clutch and now the little machine is getting about 15 MPH on the trails with the throttle restricted to 3/4 max...

But I was wondering if there are any hopups or such for this bike yet??? I have a feeling he will be wanting more power soon...

Thanks,

Hibrass

The z50 prolly is the least mod friendly 50cc quad made.
No offence but any future thoughts should be with a mod friendly machine. There are loads of 50cc machines in that catagory. DRR is the fastest out of the box.

Damn thats a shame...

You would think that being a 4 stroke they would be jumping at the chance to make parts for it... At least pipes and intakes. What kind of options are out there for wheel spacers and tires for these little things???

Thanks for the feedback,

Hibrass

where is the restrictor located on the clutch of the z 50? what's it look like? the moto shops can't give me any advice. I have a lt 50 and a z 50 and both my kids want more speed.

if hes looking for more speed, I would try to find an lt-80 You could get one for under 800 I bet. this is a 2 stroke, its been around forever, its practically bulletproof, and there is a big aftermarket for it. i think that would be your best bet.

http://forums.atvconnection.com/suzu...strictors.html

Its only on the Z50 (four stroke) to my knowledge. I believe the two stroke models had a restrictor (washer) on the exhaust between the cylinder head and head pipe.

Probably want to find out how old/big his kid is before recommending he just go and throw him on an 80...
