I just got this little predator 50 today, I changed spark plug, changed gas in tank and carb bowl. Battrie has a good charge. When i pulled out the spark plug and connected it back into the boot and tried to start it to check for fire(had good voltage arc ). one thing i noticed was voltage would arc from the rubber boot to the front tire?. if anybody can give some suggestions, i willing to learn.

Try replacing the plug boot. They are cheap and may do the trick. Just unscrew the one on it and screw the new one in. You can get the NGK boots for around 5.00.
