i have to ask if there is any way to check the coil assy before buying a new one? doesnt seem to be getting spark turning over real good . took spark plug out dry as could be. checked spark on frame and no spark. could any one help? thanks for your time

 

You check them with an ohm meter. Your local zuki shop can tell you the correct readings. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Check your grounding wires also. If the frame is not grounded to the battery than you get no spark. Hope this helps.
