Default VISCO LOCK

Why do only 3 tires rotate with visco lock ?? I've notice when I get stuck in the mud that only the 2 front and left rear only are engaged. It seems the right rear never spins. Any info would be a great. Thanks

Umm? I noticed one of the front tires don't spin until the other makes a couple rotations. but the backs seem to both always spin.. I didnt know the rear differential was viscolock aswell?

The rear axle has no diff, the wheels are locked together. If only one is spinning you have a major problem.

Well I pulled the rear axel apart and the shaft is broken inside the diff. Luckily the the diff looks O.K

Just got my outty 800 max, while we are on the topic of the visco lock. I have never rode a quad with it. Does anybody else find that it pulls you around real bad from side to side in loose surface like a foot or two of snow. It only happens in full throttle, if I back out, it doesn't seem as bad????

I can hardly tell a difference when it is engaged, IMO thats the beauty of it.

Yes I did notice it pulls me around in the snow. Or it could just be the ruts in the trail. But I can say that it pulled me out of a mud a mile long and often over my seat.
