I was changing my oil yesterday after putting on the new carb and clutch springs only to find out the dealership stripped my drain plug when I took it in for the 10 hour service. I am leaving on a big trip Wednesday, so I need a fix fast. I think I am going to go with the BMW repair kit because it seems easy and painless, where can I get one FAST?

any auto parts store has self taping oversized oil drain plugs , all you do is screw them in and they cut new threads,if you wanted to go this way or you can buy a helicoil kit, it might be a little hard to find one with metric threads,but worth looking into. good luck and let us know what you decide on
