Default 700 Twin exhaust is glowing!

I have 2, 2002 700s and the exhaust manifold on both of them glows bright red if running in low gear for a few minutes. I'm thinking too lean or an exhaust leak. I've only had them for a few weeks and havent gotten to deep into them.

I have a 03 and 05 700 sportsmans, plus a 700 raptor that all glow red for about the first 4inches of pipe. I think its just the nature of the beast. Don't see it during the day, just when you pull into a dark garage or trailer do you see the glowing.

If you are runing th estk. ec. you shouldn't need to jet up but you might want to doubel check an dmaek sure the right jettign is in the carb too. This heappens alot on 4-strokes and it's alot easier to see when its darkout.

Lost my lighter one night snowmobiling...kept trying to get the pipe/header on the sled hot enough for a light but no success.
