The Polaris has 50hrs on it for $5,200

The Grizzly has 90hrs on it for $6,400

both bikes are near mint! I'm leaning toward the Polaris but I'm a little worried about their rep!

Help me !

The sportsman has less time, but i think the Grizzly is a little more reliable now days, (popo slacks a little lately with quality imo) I would get the Grizz. But again, for a little extra money, why not get a new one with a warranty? And with that, the Grizz might be a little overpriced, if it is still stock.

The Yami is the SE model and has 26" mud tires, winch, heated grips and hand guards and for another $1,000 he'll through in the traxx conversion kit ($3,000 value) high on the cool factor low on the practical factor. The Polaris is a really nice bike but I'm getting realy scared of all the negative publicity they get. although if I can get it for $5,000 that would be a great deal I think. Decisions decisions!

I'd get the grizzly. Yamaha is better quality than polaris to me and the grizzly has reverse.
The used one would probably be better to get because of the stuff hes already got on it.

get the polaris. we have never had anything go wrong or break on the 98 sportsman we have. their reliable machines and they run great. my uncle has a 00' sportsman 500 and he has beaten the hell out of it doing stuff like plowing snow, dirt, crushed concrete, driving it hard, hauling logs, and just beating on it and nothing has ever broken or had to be repaired. they are powerful, fast, have great suspension and are a smooth ride. i hope you pick the polaris because later on you will be happy you did.

get the polaris my ubcle has one and he rides it like a motherfu<ker and hes had it smash on rocks and past the racks in mud and water...the grizz is a great quad but for that extra grand get the cheaper equally as reliable polaris...it haa a stronger frame and more smooth suspension it will be great in mud and for work

keep us all informed on your decision

The polaris. Awsome ride and great power. And yes, the polaris has reverse too.
