I have a 2000 rancher es 4x4 and i went to start it the other moring it was preety cold and it woldent start full choke after a wile of cranking i pulled the plug thing i had fludded it it was dry and it finally started and it got warm and i shut the choke off and it wouldent go back to a normal idel it was liek i never shut the choke off so i turned the idel nobe down all the way it went down a lil bit then i shut it off and have to turn the idel back up when i start it agine i have to do it every time i use the choke what is rong with it?

 

u might have grit in your choke cable.

 

There is a primer botton on the side of your carb.When it is 30Deg or colder I push it 1 time 2 if it"s colder.Hope this helps?
