Well, I just found out that the front axles are wearable items and are not covered by my Polaris warranty. Now this is a $250 part and both of them are needing to be replaced. 170 hours and less than 2000 miles on the atv. With all the other expensive repairs that have been done to it, it's plain to me that it is a piece of junk. Even if Polaris paid for the repair, the fact remains that the atv is not a reliable atv. As soon as it is repaired, it's gone. I'm going to a different manufactorer. I'll never own anything that Polaris builds again.

I have over 10,000 miles on my axles in my 500 sportsman that have turned 27" mud tires since day one without any problems. Why do yours have to be replaced? Did your break the cv inside? If so Gorilla Axle sells replacement ones for $60. I wouldn't see any other need for them to be replaced.
