Does anybody have any experience with these or know who makes them for Cabelas? The price seems right and the features seem comparable to the name brands. I've always been very happy with the Cabelas brand hunting and fishing gear I've bought in the past and am thinking about taking the plunge. Any advise is appreciated.

If you just want a so,so maybe it works.. hope you never need parts... go for it... Cabelas does make awesome stuff.. but this winch is made for them by superwinch.. my advice.. get the other winch there with the name.. WARN.. You'll be glad you did...

 

Take a look at the milemarker winch, great product never had a problem. winchdeopt.com has them and warn, they gave me free shipping. Just a thought.

 

Thanks guys. I did some more research and found a Warn 2.5 on Ebay and won the auction for $230. If this thing shows up as advertised, I'll be an Ebay true believer.

It showed up as advertised yesterday less than a week after the auction closed. Brand spaning new in the box - never even opened from the factory. I also ended up buying the winch mount separately from the same guy. Net of shipping, I ended up paying about $10 more than I could have purchased the item from a catalog. Still an incredible deal though.

Can't wait to strap that bad boy on this weekend.
