lol, he's already making more hp than that engine has when it comes off the assembly line. I think he wants real power.

The ktm 525 is an excellent engine with great hp output, lots of torque, and is also quite reliable.

The honda xr650 powerplant is also good, but is pretty choked up in stock form.

But you'll have to understand that even with a 4cyl street bike engine pushing 150+ hp you're still going to get beaten by twin cylinder banshees and some single cylinder honda and zuki 2 strokes.

go on ebay and find a TT600 motor, my 84 TT600 will out run a ported and polished banshee with the works, and it is only .10 over and went up to 11:1 compression, it needs a valve job really bad but still pulls extremly hard.

Are you talking about the engine you haven't gotten yet or your raptor engine? Never seen a raptor engine in a 250R frame, 99% sure the dimensions of the frame won't allow it without enough modification to really screw up the handling advantages.

Call Angela at Lone Star.
They indeed make a frame that will mount a 4 stroke motor in. I've seen a cpl out there with the KTM motor mentioned above. I hear it's the schnitz!
