Hey guys, need a little help here with my 04' sportsman 700. It has recently started smelling while I am riding like fuel. I noticed it first but no one else smelled it , now anyone behind me is smelling it. The other day after riding for about one hour I stopped to take a short walk about 5 min. and when I got back on it I started it and after letting off the throttle it died. That happened 3 times in a row till I could get it to stay running. What does it sound like to you guys ???? Help

 

It could be a bad fuel valve or leaking out of your carb bowls. I know a guy that rolled his Kodiak and the fuel valve was always leaked after that. If its fuel injected I don't have a clue.
