Lt80 interesting setup
#1
I saw a different setup on a Lt80/Kfx80 this weekend. The guy has used a JL extender kit along with spacers and a set of Apex Pro 90 shocks. The wheels don't tip in at the top at all. This is the widest Lt I have seen racign mx so far. Has anyone else done or tried this? The shocks seem a little stiff but I'm wondering if you could get them revalved to be a little softer.
Anyone racing MX with a Lt/Kfx have a good wide setup please let me know how. The rest of these quads look like mini YFZ's out there.

hey voodoo i used jl 2.5 extenders and 2 inch wheel spacers along with the jl wheel and tire kit and 2 inch spacers inthe back as well the whole thing sits 10 inches wider. also got the works shocks. she is 110lbs and the only time that the wheels tip in at the top is when she lands from a jump. this little machine is soooo much more stable and looks really cool.

are there any other shock setups for the lt other than the works socks that you might be able to get more than 2-3 inches of ravel out of? the works shocks work great but id just like a little extra travel if at all posible..

I had a buddy make me a set of custom tubular a-arms with Heim joints all around and adjustable lower shock mounts. There A-Arms are 3" wider per side (6"inches total) and I have 2" wheel stud extenders which widen it a total of 10". I using Kasea 90 shocks on the front, but there kind of soft... The rear has a 3" Wider axle with (2) 2-1/2" wheels spacers (8" wider overall).. I've guess I gotta get rid of it as my boy's moved up to Blasters...
