blaster leaking oil into exhaust

Default blaster leaking oil into exhaust

2001 yamaha blaster leaks oil out of exhaust flange and also getting in pipe when cranked.not just a little ether need any suggestion to help fix the problem.thanx

Default blaster leaking oil into exhaust

There is a crankshaft seal inside the engine between the tranny/clutch area and the inside of the crankcase. If it goes bad then the engine will suck crankcase oil out of the tranny into the engine. This is probably what has happened. Check you tranny oil level and see if it seems low. If it is go ahead and install both crank seals. If one is bad the other isn't far behind.

Default blaster leaking oil into exhaust

I looked at the oil level its normal the oil leaking out the flange is way darker.Is ther any way the injection oil could be leaking out the flange and getting into the pipe thats what it looks like any more suggestions would be awesome.I also still have the automatic injection on it please help thanx.

try changing the muffler
packing

Default blaster leaking oil into exhaust

More than likely this wont change the problem, but get the oil blockoff kit. Or just do it yourself.
