I was hunting in the mountains with my new 450ES (48 miles). The problem I expierenced was that when the weather turned cold the bike acted as if the brakes were frozen (the brakes were not frozen because the bike would coast while in neutral). It would go into gear but would just creep for the first 100 yards or so. After that the bike acted normal. I checked all fluids and they were normal. Because I was in the mountains and did not have access to a dealer I continued to operate the bike this way for three days. Again the problem only occurred when the engine was cold and would fix itslef after 100 yard or so (no unusual noises were ever heard). Eventually I adjusted the clutch and the probelm went away. I am planning on changing the oil to check for any shavings.

My question is: Could I have possibly done any damage that I am not aware of?
