Super glue razor blades to the handle grips.(just kidding)Buy a few differant locks and try to back the truck up to something so you cant drop the tailgate.Put a pad lock around the chain and sprocket so it cant role.Take a wheel off and bring it with you.Just some ideas.

You can use the steel cable, which is coated with rubber, so it doesnt scratch,, and lock it to the tie downs. They sell the kyptonite stuff at home dump, about 15 bucks for 12 feet. Dont leave much slack, and loop it thru the frame a few times.

Buy a locking device for your tailgate, if you don't already have one. There's one called "Pop & Lock", I believe. It's just a key lock that installs next to your tailgate latch. I know Cabelas sells them, and you might even try your local automotive dealers (AutoZone, etc.) and see if they sell them.

The lockdown cables from Home Depot are great but the fact is if someone wants your quad bad enough they can defeat most any lock system you use. For around $80.00 a year you can get insurance that will give you a lot of piece of mind. Got mine from the lizard outfit, took about 15 minutes.

I really like the back it up to a wall idea. I'd still lock it to the truck with a cable but if the tailgate can't be lowered then there is no way that one thief can get your ATV. Several thieves maybe, but that is much less likely to happen. Unless they are specifically targeting your ATV, hieves don't fool with something that is going to take some effort to get.
