I want to get some new handlebars for my 400EX, but i'm kind of stuck as to which ones to buy. I like the Pro Tapers, but don't know which brand or bend. Are the Pro tapers better bars and worth the extra money. Or should i just get regular bars? Please give me some info or recommendations as to which bars and which bend has a nice feel. By the way, i'm 6'0" tall if that matters.

I think the 909's are made by FMF. Do you know which bend they are? I quess the bend isn't too inportant, what i need to know is what rise i should get.

If your going to go with Pro-Tapers, which are the best bars made IMHO, then check out the CR Hi and CR Low Bends. I have the CR low bend on mine, but I also have a +1 1/2" extended steering stem.

I have Renthal 400EX bend handlebars and like them a lot. They survived a 3rd gear pinned crash with no problem at all. I was running third gear pinned, missed my turn, locked up both ends, and rolled the quad 1 1/2 times. It landed on the handlebars and laid there. After I got out of the ditch I was catapulted into, I rolled my quad back over on all fours. My bars were on the gas tank. I went home, loosened the bolts on the clamp, moved the bars back into place, and tightened them back. Then, I went back riding, and have had no problems since.

I was looking at getting the 909 bars. How would these compare to the Renthals?

I was looking at the 909's or maybe the Tag bars. What do you guys think of these two? I think i might get the CR low bend. The CR high looks like they come up too high for me.
