Grizz 660 or 700?
#4
I was also looking at both, but when I got a new 06 for $6250 I could not pass on it. I has enough power for me. The only thing that I don't like is I have rolled it over twice only going 7 to 8 mph. I think that is why they made the changes in the chasis for 07. I'm going to put some ITP 26" xtr's with wheel spacers to hopefully solve the problem..Otherwise I love the Grizz..

I've ridden with several people on grizzly 660 and never seen them roll at a low speed or heard of anyone
mention this before, I'm looking to upgrade to the grizz for the ride comfort and ground clearnce,
but rolling the atv doesn't sound to comfortable to me, have many people rolled the grizz at a low speed.

Whats the altitude where your are going to be riding, EFI"s good for changing altitudes, I had to have mine re jetted due to the high altitude where I"m at,, But if i was back east, i wouldn't have touched it,, The power steering doesn't make any sense to me, for another $Grand,,I think the older Grizz handles great with out it,, I'm not in mud but in very rocky rough terrain,, Your millage may vary.

samag, the first time it rolled it was a freak accident. I hit a huge rutt just right and within 2 seconds I was on the ground with the bike coming towards me. My buddy had just gone over the same spot with no problems therefore I was not expecting to be dumped like that. The second time I was on a slight incline but it still should not have rolled that easy. Two other times I had to jump off to keep it from rolling. As far as the deal, right before the 07's came out the Grizz was advertised in a local bike trader mag for $ 6,350. I talked him down to $6,250 and a free set of ramps.. The next week I saw the 06 Grizz advertised for $5,999. They were trying to get rid of them I guess.. I got mine in Carrolton Ky. Last week they still had some in the showroom.
