Default Used warrior buy or not?

I dont know I have friends that have warriors and they are pritty heavy and slow compaired to my raptor 660 and 400EX. Even my polaris sport will beat one in a darg race by like 8 quads on the 300 foot and will keep pulling on the top end. The warriors do not have very good handleing eather. I guess if you are looking for a beginers quad you can buy it. Also that price seams way high!!!! I paid $2000 for my 2001 400EX and $2400 for my 2001 raptor 660 and thoes quads will smoke warriors. They were also in very good condition with hardly any scratches. I have seen them sell for $1500 average for simualer mods around here and I live in michigan so quads bring alot, A mint 2000 warior with heavy mods might bring $2500. I guess if you really want it get it but I have a feeling it will not be enough quad after a few rides and you are paying too much!

Search the fourm for more info, You will find everything you need to know if you typw in warrior at the search box at the top of the fourm. The warrior will be about the same as a stock blaster but will not have as good suspention or handle as good and will not be as good on the jumps because it is alot heaver. The only thing the warrior has on the blaster is realibilaty. The warriors are one of yahamas more reliable quad. I would get it only if you are looking for a reliable quad that will get you through trails and the ocanisional jump. On the trails at least the tight trails up warriors are pleanty even when with a raptor 660 because you cant really get above 3rd gear they are so tight but on the wider trails or the sand dunes or ever roads the warrior will be left behind. As far as in the dunes, My buddy has a 87 warrior and he can make it up all the hills at silver lake sand dunes here in michigan, some of them it takes him a few tryes but he makes it.

sorry my dad wont go any place farther then an hour to look at one and he told me i have $2500 cash hell give me to get a quad so thats why im tryna find the best sport quad i can get for that price i coudl prolly get him up to $3000 at the most and i already looked on ebay and i didnt see nothin and my dad wont buy nothin on ebay either lol hes doin this because he told me hed get me a new cheaper quad and i think because of a responsibility thing because im 16 now and i just got a job and all thatt so thats why i was lookin at the warrior in the paper but the body isnt in the greatest condition and the kid prolly beat it pretty good so thats why i was wondering if that mattered or if it would be expensive to repair? because right now i work at target and make $6.75 an hour so im not rich lol but i will be saving up to mod out what ever i get so could someone tell me if that would matter that much? i mean its not like terrible but its scratched up on more places then the plastics and some things are kinda rusty like the skidplate but its just a bar that goes around it its not liek a full skid plate on the rear swingarm and thats rusty and some things are dirty and stuff like thatt its not MAJOR stuff just looks FAIR condition id say so woulld it still be a good quad or should i look for somethin else? if i could get him down to $2000 for it would it be good? and thanks for the responses guys

I am also 16 too. Seams like there alot or 16 year olds on this web site. As far as my job goes me and my bro and a friend started our own bisness painting/staining decks for old people. We make like 12 bucks a hour if you caculate it. I split the 3 four wheelers I own and my truck with my bro. As far as the warrior goes I would reckomend that you wate for a good deal to come up or even A average deal to come up . You can find 400EX's and raptor 660 out there in good condition like I did. Too bad you dont live near michigan or I could hook you up with some deals. One of my friends is selling his 2003 banshee and its all tricked out for $2000 because he got caught underage drinking up north and his parents are makeing him sell it to pay the fines. Thoes banshees sure are fast.

Let me throw this at you.........

4200 for a stock rappy350
OR
2000 for a used warrior

That is $2200 that you could add to that warrior......that is equal to about the next 5 years of normal repairs and mods with no prob.

I am a big fan of buying used bikes because you can save a mint if you look around correctly. you can find near new bikes 1 year old for $2000+ off what they were new.
