whats up guys, i have been reading these pages for months now while i was rebuilding mt kids 87 lt80, well it broke a piston ring and destroyed the cylinder, does any one have a cylinder they want to sell? more importantly, it didnt have any power, what can i do like port wise and maybe milling the head, its not for racing or anything but it lacks in any kind of snap. also can someone send me the instuctions on how to remove the two roller ***** out of the clutch. i know you guys dont like the midwest mini place but is that bigger carb they see any good, i really dont like the stock carb at all. thanks for your help

Welcome to the ATV Connection forums.
I may have a cylinder around, I'd have to look this weekend.
A new cyl and piston kit would be $200 or so.
Put the piston in backwards to break a ring? (arrow goes toward the exhaust)
The stock carb works great. The big carb would be a waste of time and money.Get a "snap-on" 8mm wrench and it's easy. Why don't you like it?
Not knowing how to remove the rollers tells me that you never maintenenced your clutchs, thus a good reason not to have any snap.
The short story:: remove the clutch cover (the whole thing, not just the lil cover). Take the front clutch off and apart. clean and replace any rollers that are not perfectly flat. You have a good chance of the roller hub (variator) being bad plus the lil plate that covers the rollers. If grooved, they are bad.(approx $40.)
Shaving the head .030 will help bump up the compression.
Tell us how the rollers looked.
