Default Why no shift on the fly 4x on the outtys?

It just seems like the 4x switch should be protected if "catastrophic" failure might occure when 4x is engaged while moving. A simple flick of the thumb while bouncin down a trail could ruin a day of fun. So anyone know why BRP is the only one out there that doesn't do shift on the fly?

You can shift on the fly at about 10 mph if there is no load on the cvt. I have done it many of times.
