05 eiger, smoking or?

Used k&n filter oil on my foam filter;went for ride after and looks like bluish whit smoke on decellaration after wot. Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

how much oil is on the filter....did you soak it till it dripped?

No,not dripping. Just put a good heavy coat on it. Would too much oil cause that you think?

Yes, too much oil would cause it to run rich...did it only do this after you oiled the filter? If so I'd say use a lighter coat next time around

Yea just after. Runs fine and all,just a little worried about it.I will ride again this wkndand see how it does. thanks for the reply. Have a good one.

It will goop up your intake good with oil if it is a lot also. You could wash the oil off and then lightly spray it again if you so desire. Anytime.
