Default Help, My King needs more power!

What can I do for more power. I sick of my neighbor running his mouth about his brute force. He is running dyna cdi and 27" mudlites. I have stock tires. If we race from 20mph or so I can stay pretty close, but from a dead start he kills me out of the hole. After he wins, I have to listen to his mouth about my queen quad, and how no little single with one carb will ever beat a vtwin with two, blah, blah, blah, he goes on and on. This guy is a real jerk. He even mounted some fake rubber ***** hanging from the back of his brute if that tells you what kind of idiot he is.

I really want to shut him up, what do I need to do it?

maybe you should consider a spotsman 700. not only have I pulled my buddy's king quad out of the mud but i have a strong feeling i could kick a$$ in any race against a brute that size.

king freak,
don't worry about it too badly. for one thing, i have a brute force and have quite a project making it handle better and ride nicer. i am about to drop a couple hundred on offset rims and 6 ply tires. you however have a nice handling quad with a good ride, straight from the factory, not to mention efi.

another thing is it will be a little more equal off the line for you once dyna releases a cdi for the 700 king quad/artic cat 700. your quad is VERY detuned for safety, more so than the brute force was before your friend unleashed it with his cdi. tire for tire he may still beat you in a drag but if you get the chip when it is released, you may be able to overcome him on his 27 mud-lites. just be patient and don't drag him off the line until they release that chip. he he

The sportsman 700 wont beat a bf 650, 750, or AC650V2 (same motor as bf650) The 800 will beat all three. But the 700, which i now know two people who have them, lost to me stock to stock everytime. Polaris slacked a little with the 700

yea i agree. po po 800 not taking either of the brute force. especially not the 650i in a short drag. it even gets the jump on a 750 brute from a number of sources. just wait for the brute force 800 though. he he he.
