Default proper inflation on rear tires?

I've got ATP Holeshot tires on the back of a Blaster. One got pretty low, so I aired both up. The tires say no more than 36 PSI, but I found 20 PSI to be pretty tight. As a matter of fact, tires that were gripping the ground pretty good (like going up a hill) are now rolling over stuff instead. What's a good amount to inflate these rear tires to?

The sidewall psi warning is for setting the bead. ATV tires are low pressure tires and designed to run at low pressure. I think you will find most people set their air pressure for sport quads around 3 to 7 lbs.

I personally run all of mine around 3 to 4 lbs. They ride well at this pressure and help the suspension soften out some of those bumps.

You will need a low pressure tire gauge. Go to any nearby ATV dealer and they will have them.

On my YFZ i run 8 in front and 6 in back. I like a stiff tire that doesnt role over in the corners.
