Advancing timming on the banshee?
#2
I know for a blaster you can get a degree key from, Vito's, or a adjustable stator, or make your stator adjustable youself. Any of these ways you will have to remove the flywheel.I think it's the same for a banshee. The degree key is just a off set woodruff key that goes on the shaft to hold flywheel in place. I think Vito's has a degree key and adjustable stator for the banshee. Making your stock stator adjustable is probably the cheapest way. I know how to do it for a blaster, but not a banshee.

It's easy to do.Just buy a timing plate like they said.Remove the flywheel and take off the old plate.Replace it with the new adjustable plate.Set it with the middle of where the 2 case 1/2's meet.
Most do run it at +4 that use gas.Don't think "I'll just put it on +10 for more power".
On my alcohol banshee,I run it at +8.
You probably won't tell a big difference, but it does help a little.
