Polaris 2 stroke oil?
#1
I run regular blue synthetic blend Polaris 2 stroke oil in my 400 and my local dealer went out of business, I was wondering if there is anywhere I can order it because I have heard it is not good to change brands of oil on a 2 stroke?
Thanks!

It won't hurt to switch oil brands, but as sheepdog said, you may want to let it run low. Better yet, just drain the tank, and refill it with your new choice.

oil is to lubricate,,the most important thing to make is the good choices for the type of engine and application, there end the best results for any motors to try out, most nowadays synthectic blend are rated a little higher than most from what the factory is to suggest,,a lot of choices to figure out there,,the 400 doesn't need extra fat type of oil,and it doesn't have power valve on it either,,most synthetic blend are power valved formula and to keep
heat down by much for higher powered engines,,so the choices is even important,i found the good blend on my scrammy with some test of clean burning and plug and pistons wash checking regulary, now it run perfect with no carbon build up at all.
