Default E-Brake blockoff plate

Can someone explain to me why a lot of people remove the parking brake & add a block off plate? I just bought a ASV break-away clutch handle & it says that the parking brake must be removed? Any ideas Why?

Several reasons

1) Alot of the Parking Brakes are junk so people just remove them to clean up the look and maybe weight.

2) Some Quads like a warrior have a sensor that has given alot of people problems so removing the PB gets rid of this.

3) Alot of after market perches simply dont have the mounts for a parking brake so it has to be removed.

One more question... When I remove the E-brake, what should I do with the wires that come from the perch?

Disconnect them from the brake then follow them into the harness, there should be a clip you can undo to get rid of the wire. There was on my shee anyways.
