Were you doing alot of wheelies? Your carbs drain if you do a wheelie for a long period of time.

Something's not right, I can do a combination of hard riding and trail riding for at least 6 hours on a single tank before hitting the reserve, and i'm not exactly stock anymore. When I was mostly stock, including the stock carb, I would be hard pressed to run that tank dry in a weekend of trail riding.

IMS does make a larger fuel tank for the warrior, I think it's 3.8 gallons instead of the stock 2.4 (I could be wrong on both of those numbers but I think i'm close). They run somewhere in the $200 range.

Before I spent any money on that, first i'd try cleaning out the carb, focusing mostly around the float valve. If that gets stuck, then you could have been dumping fuel straight through the carb and out the overflow tube. It's normal for a few dribbles to come out of the overflow line when riding, but not too much.

Ya i thought there was something wrong. I planned on pulling the carb soon and checking it anyway because it cuts out on me and sputter sometimes it was a dune quad for 18 years and i'm sure there is sand in the carb and the floats are probelly stuck. so thanks. It sucks having to get towed back buy your dad, and then getting stopped by the ranger and getting in trouble for not having tags or plates.

Defintiely check the carb. Mine got some crap in it last winter and the float got stuck and unless you were looking under the swing arm where the overflow goes you wouldn't notice that the whole time you are riding it is dumping out all your fuel.
