i have a 93 bayou 300c and i didnt ride it for a few months and now when i start it up its spits and putters and when i give it gas it dies..it wont even idle correctly..can someone help?

 

More than likely old gas gumming up inside the carb.
Easy way first:
Drain old gas from carb and fuel tank, then run some fresh gas.
If that doesn't work, you need to remove the float bowl and clean out each jet and fuel passages with either thin wire or spray some contact cleaner. Need some real good carb cleaning. Also, check your plug.
