I changed the transmission fluid in my 05 blaster but i think i put too much in it. The manual that came with my bike got wet like a week after i bought it and i had to toss it. Anyway, there is a little window on the side of the transmission. Does the top of the fluid need to be visible in that window? Because i filled it all the way up to the plug. There is a little vent tube (at least i think thats what it is) going from the top of the tranny to underneath the front plastics and tranny fluid is leaking out of it. I'm guessing i filled it up too much. Anyone know how much fluid your Im supposed to put in it? I just need to know about the little view window, whether the fluid level should be half or full or whatever in the window.

The oil level should be near the high end of the sight glass.

If I remember right the total amount should be about .70 of a US quart or .65 L

use 10w30 Se motor oil

 

You without a doubt over filled it. You need to have the fluid level in the middle of that window. Some people like to put a little extra in and fill it to just below the top. If you change it frequently enough that shouldnt be an issue.
