What's With Honda's NON-EXISTENT Power Steering?
#1
Back in April/May there was hoopla about Honda's Electric Power Steering that was supposed to be included with the 2007 Foreman. Today I stopped at the local Honda dealer who claims they were not aware Honda was coming out with EPS, had NO 2007 dealer model information or brochures and had only received a couple 2007 Recons so far, but HOPED they would see some in the next month or so.
Has anyone seen/ridden a new Foreman with EPS? Will it be on all Foreman models? Anyone seen the 2007 420 Ranchers? I can't believe dealers aren't aware of the above and have no knowledge of the new model lineup. Suspect this local dealer is simply trying to move existing inventory. I did see/ride a 2007 Grizzly with EPS (Honda's??). It was a significant improvement, I felt, after my "extensive" parking lot test ride.
Am I just overly interested this year or is Honda way behind the curve releasing the new models?

If i can find it again i'll let you know somthing more on it ; but i think they are still trying to get the bug's out of it bere they start relase it this comin spring !! ...........................williebee

Here's announcements from Honda's News Release website. Unfortunately they don't even mention it in their Product Info section for 2007 models. Maybe they are releasing it to the competition first (Yamaha) to let them work out the bugs before selling to Honda owners. (Opposite philosophy of Polaris who lets it's customers test new features).

No, they probably won't be at the dealers until about late November.
Also, dealers are usually the last to know about any changes. If your dealer cared about what he was selling, he would know about the new releases that were announced on September 9th.
