Default 06 outty 400 ho problem please help

Can anyone help me? I have a 2006 outty 400 ho and it started acting up. It runs awsome for the first 10 to 20 min. of riding but then starts losing power and cutting out, i have to work the throttle to keep it running, if i work the throttle enuff it comes out of it but then starts all over no power, dies ect.

i cleaned the carb, and air filter

i just put a new belt on it. theres no way it can be that, can it?

to me it sounds like either dirty fuel floating around in your carb...the wrong octane...or something with the carb ...check all of the gas lines and the fuel petcock and make sure they are fine (not clogged or kinked) and check to see if your carb has dirty jets ad if so clean them.

How's the battery? Does it do it with the lights off? Older Outties had problems with the voltage regulators. Not sure if it's still a problem or not.

I just go done riding it, and it feels like the clutch is engaging as soon as i hit the gas, and when it dies it feels like some thing is draging it down. i put a dalton clutch kit on it. could the primary spring get weak and soften up after it gets hot. i don't know alot about atv clutchs

Did it want to die before installing the clutch kit? I have the Dalton kit too. Engagement off of idle is what the clutch kit does. I don't think the clutch is your problem.
