ok so i'm doing this pole for my budy, we want to know what would be the best bike for the way we ride.

whitch is pretty hard, mostly wood trails, hills, lots of creeks and little, track and mud. ( just what we have to hit to ride out the rest of the trails.) now he wants to buy one realy soon and need some input, what you all think?

thanks
Rockroller

stuff like, what one is more reliable when it comes to take'n hits, what would be faster, what problems anyone has had with them....

Either one will do exactly what you want it to with enough money. I'd go with the craptor cause it has EFI.

I would also go with the 700r. Number one, because I have one (just kidding). It has reverse. It is over 100 lbs lighter. It has a ton of power. Aftermarket parts are cheaper and are going to be more available. And manufacturing of Bombardier is moving to Mexico where as Yamaha is Japanese (better quality). Just my opinion.

Either way you go is a good choice but it really depends on the rider the raptor would be better for smaller riders whoe are around 160 or so and the ds is a very confortable ride and the suspension is prob one of the best I have ever had on a stock quad...Each have their + and - but it relal depends on how the rider feels confortable wise so have him sit on them and see which he likes better.

I am about 160 and can handle it fine and love my 650 so if he is strong enough to flip the 650 around then go get it either the 700 or 650 are a good choice if he likes how the 450's are more size wise then go with the 700
