I was thinking of buying tractor style tires for tractor supply or rural king.They sumwhat are for a big lawnmower.There a 20inch tire.The v pattern they have are a SERIOUSLY AGRESSIVE tread design.There only like 20$ a tire.I would use them for some deep mud.Put them on some cheap rims.Just wanted to know if anyone else had tried this?Any help appreciated.

 

If you buy 20$ tires that is probably exactly what you will get 20$ tires [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] my guess is they will shred on the fist rock your hit. lawnmower tire are just not designed for the harsh use of ATV's

 

There a 6-ply-4-ply tires though.They would fit on stock size rims.Thats why i wasnt to sure because they where a 6-ply.But you do get what you pay for.

 

i have seen them, they would be fine in soft stuff, hard pack they wont last very long...
