Does anyone know how to adjust the valves on this bike? Do you also know the measurement of the feeler guage?

Problem: Loud knocking/pinging when you rev real fast and loud clattering when under a load (going up a hill and going full throttle). Sounds like metal hitting. Like piston hitting spark plug which it is not.

I am running a 168 Main with a Dr.D Slip On with K&N Filter and the airbox lid off...

Any idea of loud metal clattering noise when you first rev real high or mainly when you are on a load or going up a hill then full throttle in like 3rd gear it just sounds like metal chattering but under normal conditions it doesn't make that sound...

How long has it been since the oil was changed? Did the oil filter get installed correctly? Oil level good?

 

Yes. Oil level is good. Do you check it from the upper Bladder with the dip stick? If so, it is good. I did not change the oil filter yet. Probably need to. I am hoping it is just the valves or the jetting... Also this bike gets Very Very hot after a good ride. Is this normal?

Just so you know when your in too high of a gear and too low of RPM's with a load youll definately get that metal clanging sound too going up hills and tree shot, happens alot.
