I ran a 15, 40 on 20's for a day or so, just enought to get beat by a 450r, great combo for the trails but not for a drag, my top speed with that setup was around 78mph the 15, 41 should be a good combo, my top speed with a 16,40 was 83 and that is the best combo for me right now. Not sure if you are talking 660 rap or 700, shouldnt have any problem beating a 660 anywhere.

dropping 1 tooth on the front sprocket alone is good enough to beat a raptor660, pred, 450r, and yfz off the line, least it worked for me against all those :-D

For 300ft I like the higher gears (16/17 front) with the 20's. Lower gears over power them and make the gearing too low. On pavement you will just have to see what your bike likes in 500ft,

On pavement Id go for the 17 or at least the 16. Not much drag and you wont need that much low end. I used a 15 in sand and launch in second gear. Make sure on pavement you dont over rev. Get through those gears and I would like to know if you have a CDI.
